THE PROJECT
For those who are unaware of the concept of a micro-job, it is a temporary job or service often booked over the internet. A micro-job can be anything ranging from content writing, web design or a handyman job. It provides great opportunity to make some extra cash on a part time basis. Quite recently, we can find micro-job platforms mushrooming all over the internet scape. However, one of the early birds to this trend was Spotters – a pioneering micro job platform in South Africa. Team Spotters got in touch with us through one of our offshore patrons who we had been servicing since long. We knew this was going to be a special project owing to the uniqueness of the concept and the vision of the team behind the concept.
The Challenges
There were two major requirements that Wings Tech Solutions was asked to deliver on:
• Businesses should be able to post micro-job requirements and commensurate remuneration
• Job aspirants must be able to search for the relevant jobs
Our Solution
After many discussions with team Spotters and after our own extensive research, we had been able to scale the girth of the project. The platform that we developed was ideal to upload and search for jobs and perform with a complete, feature-rich admin panel. The platform had other modules such as job management, project management, spot management, accounts General modules include Job Management, Project Management, Spot Management, Accounts Payable (A/P), etc.
Apart from a robust back-end, we also designed an aesthetic front-end website using core PHP.
