Kalan Services is a company that provides highly personalized and top-notch services for merchandise in the Retail sector. These services include inventory/ order counts, rack maintenance, product recalls, planograms, repackaging, and audits among many others. Earlier, they had been using a small third-party platform but with their expansion plans on the cards, the company decided to build a platform to deliver world-class merchandise and rep management solutions for the Retail Marketing industry.

The Challenges

The key tasks that were expected to be accomplished were:

•  The new platform must not only take care of monitoring, management and performance aspects of the retail businesses, but also ensure its scalability.

•  The platform must be versatile enough to let multiple companies allow the flexibility to create and assign tasks to the field representatives

•  There must be transparent invoicing and billing process to enable companies and field representatives to conduct hassle free financial transactions.

Our Solution

Our team at Wings Tech Solutions started out by understanding the client’s business model and its unique challenges. We then laid out a plan involving our UI/UX designers, coders, architects, and other team members to decide a timeline for the phase-wise completion and delivery of the platform. The team worked tirelessly in conjunction with Kalan Services personnel at every stage to deliver a world-class, cloud-based SaaS (Software as a Service) platform that was named Alpha Rep Service, abbreviated as ARS.

So, what is ARS? How does it function?

ARS is a Field Rep Management system that helps companies manage their field representatives nationwide. With the advent of ARS, Kalan Services has enabled companies to create their own network of representatives on the platform. Furthermore, companies can even create and delegate assignments and job tasks to the representatives in their network.  This platform has immensely benefited the field representatives as they can submit surveys online directly onto the platform and get paid for their work. We have even empowered the ARS platform with a subsystem called SYI (Submit your Invoice) for conveniently expediting invoicing and payment processes.
