THE PROJECT

Headquartered in Florida, the U.S. Legal Services has been providing legal representation and tailor-made legal insurance plans to their customers all across the United States for over 40 years. Their clients come from various walks of life with a majority of them being trucking companies enrolling all their employees with U.S. Legal Services.

In a bid to better serve its clients, the top management of the company showed a lot of prescience when they decided to create their own insurance platform. They were in need of an able technology provider who could develop the bespoke platform and further the longstanding reputation of the company in the US market.

The Challenges

After several rounds of discussions with multiple technology vendors, they decided to rope in Wings Tech Solutions. They were pretty clear in what they wanted in their platform to serve their clients better:

•  Comprehensive online management system for members, agents, employees, and attorney

•  Manage and monitor all business operations on a daily basis

Our Solution

We took the time initially in understand the company history, background, clients, and other specific daily operations. We sat down as a team and drilled down the macro-task of building the portal into a series of highly optimized micro-tasks. At the end of the project, what we were able to achieve was quite marvelous and above all, it gave us immense pleasure with all the positive feedback we received from the U.S. Legal Services.

So, what did we do?

We created their backend platform with separate access for members, employers, attorneys, and agents. We created super admin access under which we created multiple admin access to incorporate a sort of compartmentalization as per the different roles people have at U.S. Legal Services. This gave the leeway to create user interfaces, permissions and accesses exactly suited to the needs of a particular group of people. For instance, the panel access granted to an attorney will be different from the one granted to a member.

In order to help the company manage its day-to-day operations, we incorporated various modules such as Customer Management, Attorney Management, CDL/Matter Tickets Management, Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, Agent Management, and ID card printing among many others. Once the platform was ready, our team helped launch the product, train the employees in using the platform, and provided active post-live customer support.
